My name is Afton Inman. I am twenty-seven years old and am in the fashion merchandising program at JCCC. I am also completing the visual merchandising certificate. Formerly, I attended the University of Kansas for journalism.
I currently do office work at a used car lot because of my schedule but plan to get back into visual merchandising soon. I have also had different retail and service industry experience. I designed and own my own fashion blog titled A Model-Off Duty, and I am making it live this spring.
I enrolled in this course as one of three options for my degree. Of the choices, it seemed like the one of the most interest to me and that I would gain a lot of really relevant information from for my future career path.
In this class I am hoping to learn how to properly market on social media, brand strategies for doing so, and further tips on design and communication.
