It is important to have a professional LinkedIn profile because this is your resume, your brand. This is were you can show your skills and projects. Your profile reflects you are as a professional and what you can offer to different companies. It is also very likely that if you are applying for a job, the recruiter will check your LinkedIn profile to have a better feeling about who you are and see your potential for the job.
I have joined a digital marketing group, a marketing communications group, and an HR group called Linked: HR. Some of the job titles that I found interesting are Junior Marketing Representative, Marketing and Communications Representative and marketing associate. A lot of these required having very good social skills because you do have to work a lot with your clients and I think that is something that I am good at. I really enjoy working with people and I feel that I have the social skills to engage my customers. I do need to learn a lot more about the different marketing softwares that they want you to use for the job.
