The piece of evidence for the Community Engagement Competency:
- A assessment composed out of 8 questions was created to determine a 5th grade class’s knowledge about tobacco and brushing and flossing. Following the completion of this assessment a lecture over the previous subjects stated earlier was given. After the completion of the lecture a post-assessment was given to measure the 5th graders knowledge gained from the lesson plan that was constructed. After the lesson a take home word cross was given to the student to spark a conversion with their legal guardians. The instructor in charge of this class was given an evaluation form to evaluate the overall performance of the given lesson plan.
