HELLO! I’m probably one of the older students in this class. I have three grown children who have all gotten their college degrees. I decided it was my turn to take some classes!

I’ve lived in Overland Park for over 20 years and love it. Since I’ve been home for the past year due to the pandemic, I have totally enjoyed spoiling my two puppies, Maggie and Carli.

I’m pursuing a Digital Marketing Certificate to go along with my Desktop Publishing Certificate I got years ago through JCCC. Since COVID, I’ve been working out of the home and I’m finding that although I like to be creative, I’m moving away from graphic design as a job.

With this class, I hope to become much more comfortable on the social media sites, start to develop a presence for myself and possibly a personal business, and learn the best strategies and tips to help people with their marketing efforts.
