Searching for “Dee Hartman”
- First off, I had no idea Dee Hartman was a famous Actor’s name. However, that is not me.
- I was not on the first page of links (which, thankfully, the obituary wasn’t me, either).
- The first link I saw that was actually relating to me was on the 4th page. It was an obituary for my mother-in-law who passed away last summer.
- I feel like my “Buddy” had a hard time finding me and figuring out who I was.
So, searching for “Dee Hartman” “Overland Park, KS”
- When clicking on images with this specific search, there were 22 results, with my picture showing up 9th. The image is linked to peekyou.com. This brought up websites like clustrmaps.com, fastbackgroundcheck.com, cocofinder.com, checkpeople.com as well as LinkedIn and White Pages. (Interesting fact: A lot of sites have my old land-line phone number.)
- I was surprised to find a link for contract work/freelancer on signalhire.com. In April of 2020, I did set up an account with Upwork, but quit perusing it once I started contract work locally.
- On LinkedIn, I was the first and only Dee Hartman in Overland Park, KS https://www.linkedin.com/in/imdvirtuallyI have 100 connections. My last post was last month. I am at an All Star status.
- I’m on Facebook pretty much daily www.facebook.com/hartmandeeMy profile is open to the public, I have 293 friends and post approximately once a month.
In review, I would like to increase my number of connections on LinkedIn. I also feel like getting more recommendations and endorsements would be helpful for job search purposes. I do have a Pinterest Page as well as a “portfolio” that I’ve chosen to keep private at this time. It might be a good idea improve the portfolio for “public” view as well as a blog.
