In a nutshell….JCCC Enactus is a chapter of the national Enactus organization. Enactus, as an organization, helps “students build the kind of skills employers are looking for.” By developing and implementing projects that address a need in the community or world, Enactus students learn project management skills using planning tools provided by the national office. At the end of the year, students present their projects and the related outcomes at a regional and possibly, national competition. That’s a very simplified description of the organization. This is the second year for an Enactus Chapter at JCCC. This year, we decided to partner with other clubs on campus. It is our intent to collaborate with members of special interest clubs to determine needs associated with their interest and help those club implement projects using project management tools. Project participants can become members of both their special interest club and Enactus and have the opportunity to highlight their club’s project as part of the presentation at competition.  The tabs on this site list the projects and project partnerships that are being planned for the coming year.  If you have interest in a specific project, contact the Enactus faculty advisor Barbara Millard at [email protected] and she will connect you with the project leader.
