Week 6 Reflection-Part 1: Personal Branding Statement and Strategy

My Personal Branding Statement

I use my passion for learning to enrich my professional experiences.

I empower those around me by being an active listener and encouraging cooperation for beneficial goals.

Leveraging my communication skills along with a proven ability to lead, I deliver positive change to operations

My Personal Mission Statement:

I aspire to show others the gap between our experience is only as far apart as our ability to listen, love with an open heart, and speak with encouragement.

Personal Social Media Strategy:

My social media strategy for my LinkedIn profile is to continue to work to add my professional work history from the past twenty years.

I will add people to my network as well as ask for recommendations from previous co-workers and professors whom I have worked closely with.

My strategy for Facebook will be to add industry related pages and content and share an insight once daily.

I will continue to evaluate this progress in my weekly blog and would like to continue posting even at the conclusion of the semester.

Changes to my Social Media Sites:

On the core three personal branding sites I made the following changes:

I did not have a Twitter or LinkedIn account.  I created each of those accounts today.

New Twitter Account!
New LinkedIn Account!

On Facebook, I changed my profile and background picture, added inspirations to follow, completed my bio and changed my handle to be consistent across all sites.
