My Client

This week, I learned a lot more about the depths of social media marketing. There is actually A LOT of work that goes into posts and different strategies for your target audience.

My client for this semester will be the Riordan Clinic. The Riordan Clinic is based out of Wichita, KS, but has two other locations in Hays and Shawnee, Kansas. This nonprofit’s main focus of work is to improve the health of others in treating the root of the problem rather than treating the symptoms. By doing this, the Riordan Clinic has successfully treated numerous diseases in hundreds of patients.

Currently, the Riordan Clinic has a Facebook, Google Plus, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn and Youtube account. When looking at how active each of these accounts are, I have noticed that Facebook is definitely the most used and has more recent posts than the other networks. Their Twitter and Instagram’s most recent posts are from the summer of 2016, so it is obvious that those are not their main sites. One thing that I liked about their Pinterest, is that they have multiple health and work out related pins, which isn’t necessarily promoting the organization but promoting health in general.
