Facebook is my client’s most popular social media. She already does well with engagement and this page currently operates as her website. I have not made very many adjustments on his page. We are currently discussing a new bio since she has added a lot more to her product line than tumblers.

Twitter: I created the site and posted at least once tweet. I think this might be a good tool for community reach and brand awareness but not actual direct sales.

Linkedin: I created the profile but I am not super familiar with linked. This will have some growing pains for me. I made slight variations in the bio since it is a business site but under a personal name.

Instagram: It was already created. The bio currently features contact info but I would like to add a one liner of the bases of the company. I think for my client I will recommended higher quality images and custom hashtags.

I have high hopes for my clients social media. I have seen many people with small businesses prosper on social media. One account that I haven’t made but am considering is tiktok. Short videos of her creating videos may help raise her awareness and the algorithm tiktok uses is great for exposure. I am excited about this project and hope to learn the process  better.

Pinterest: I opted to make a pinterest because many women go on that site to look for customized and personalized products. The craft objective many people just make the tumblers themselves but my approach fo this will be a “we know you can do it but let us do it for you”

Reflection Week 3

The Hootsuite lesson I believe had a lot of information people who use social media already knew about. What I like was that it connected its features to market terms. That was not a perspective I have had to use before. Also, while watching I begin to think about the business I follow and the ads I have seen and what their marketing goal was. I hope to learn how to get ideas for content.

For the social media client project, I selected Britney’s Designs KC. The goal for the company is raise brand awareness and to build sales. Currently, the company has a Facebook page. They do not post daily but there is good engagement. The Instagram page doesn’t have as much a following as the Facebook. I believe Britney’s Designs could benefit from Pinterest because the majority of her customers are females. Pinterest has a strong female following.

Online Self Brand Audit

When I googled myself I found my linked in page. If someone did not know my they not know that was page because they have no other information about me. If they had my resume they would be able to confirm it was me based off my past work experiences, current work experiences and education. My other personal social media sites have me a under a different maiden last name to purposely not be found. I also have those accounts in private because it is my private life but I try to never post controversial post or reckless information about myself I have had my bosses as well as parents from the children at the center as friends too.

I am not super interested in growing my personal sites but I do want to learn how because growing a personal site in my opinion seems more difficult than growing a business site. If I can successful grow my own sites I can prove to myself and future clients this is something that I am capable of doing for them on there sites.

Strengths

Reflection 2:

My top strength in order were empathy, input, strategic, adaptability and developer. I am not surprised with my results but in definitely help put my personality in a easier perspective for me to understand. I believe the results will help narrow down how I should approach my career as well as my day to day work. I knew I am empathetic. I think a large part of that came from working with children for so long. Input makes sense for my need to know things. I question anything and I just look it up because I have to know. Strategic, I was a but aware of because of my problem solving skills. It is not hard for me to see all the scenarios and trying to break it down to what is quicker. In my experience, I have worked with a lot of different people and had issues with very few because of my ability to adapt. I can assess a persons personality traits and change my approach when I communicate with them to make them feel comfortable but also be able to get my message across. The developer strength surprised me. Then, I thought back to my experience with children and how I need to encourage them to explore and help them develop their self esteem.

I believe career wise my input and strategic strength my benefit me most when analyzing and research information to make products or a company more successful in business. I think at some point all my strengths will be used throughout my career.
