This week I learned about how effective content can build long term relationships with your audience, thus increasing brand awareness and revenue for your business.

Content marketing is sharing materials targeted toward the audience of that specific channel to increase interest.

By researching the demographic and what content resonates with each platform, you can tailor your content to reach the highest number of people.

For instance, you may find that your following on Instagram is largely comprised of a younger generation who engage when you share lighthearted photos.  By knowing this information, you can design your content releases based on the interests of this specific demographic and what form of media will produce the most engagement.

This will vary from site to site, and thus why content marketing is so important as what is successful on one site, may not resonate on another. Continue reading Content Marketing and Calendar
