Week 6: Personal Branding Statement

My Branding Statement

“I believe those who can do something to change the wrong they see in the world around them, also have the responsibility to change those things. Through integrity, authenticity and dedicated passion, I hope to be a leader with a voice to help be change I believe our world needs. ” – Abra Humphrey

My personal marketing strategy will be to build a presence as a marketer LinkedIn and also to try and build my online social media connections with marketing industry leaders and try and gain insight and interactions to gain a broader marketing network.

There are not many changes that I made to my online profiles other than changing my profile picture and banner photo as well as added “Aspiring Ethical Marketer” to my profile title. I additionally added JCCC under my education section. The changes can be seen below.

Week 5: Social Media Marketing Strategy

Marketing Strategy HHoC, LLC

Brand Awareness

As Holistic Hospice of Colorado is a brand new start-up hospice company, the main focus of the marketing strategy we take will be to build brand awareness and presence on social media platforms.

One of the ways that we hope to measure HHoC’s brand awareness strategy will be to look for the number of interactions, shares and mentions that are generated through the initial impressions made through social media posts. This will be measure on a month basis to look for the performance of the posts.

Post Reach

Another way we are going to try and measure the success of our social media marketing will be to look into the amount of impressions a post has had since it first went live on a platform. The way to calculate this will be to 1. Measure the reach of any given post by looking at the number of engagements and impressions then 2. Divide the reach by your total number of followers and multiply by 100 to get your post reach percentage.

Week 4: Optimizing Your Social Media Profiles

Social Media Profiles: Holistic Hospice of Colorado, LLC

This week I set up social media accounts for Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn for HHoC. Additionally I established a Google Business profile as well as created a free website for the company through Google. Some of the best practices that I followed in setting up these profiles were to use engaging visuals on profiles and well a using a consistent business description on all of the profiles I created. Also, I made sure to provide the link to the company webpage on the social media platforms as well.

Set Up:
Google Business Webpage: https://holistic-hospice-of-colorado.business.site/?m=true
Twitter Account @Hospice_LLC:  https://twitter.com/hospice_llc
Facebook Account: https://www.facebook.com/Holistic-Hospice-of-Colorado-LLC-103176208214003
LinkedIn Business Profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/holistic-hospice-of-colorado-llc-1771401b8/

Week 3: Client Selection

Holistic Hospice of Colorado, LLC

About the Business:

The client that I chose to market for this semester is a new start-up company, Holistic Hospice of Colorado, LLC. This is a brand new hospice company that is based out of Wichita, Kansas under their parent company Right Time Hospice. This start-up will strive to provide Hospice that focuses on caring, not curing.  In most cases, care is provided in the patient’s home, but may also be provided in nursing homes, and other long-term care facilities. HHoC care can be provided anywhere the patient considers “home”. Members of HHoC staff make regular visits to assess the patient and provide additional care or other services.

As HHoC is a brand new company, I will be setting up their first social media accounts to begin marketing and promoting on. I think the platforms that I will be focusing on will be Facebook and also Twitter in addition to building connections and establish a presence for them on LinkedIn.

Something Magical

Everything has a beginning, and this one is now.

Welcome to my first time ever blog page! Bare with me. I am currently a “junior” working towards completing my marketing management degree and hope to continue to work in the healthcare industry. I have a bit of experience helping promote on the social media sites for a local microbrewery I was a part time manager at a couple years ago.

Three things I am hoping to learn more from taking this course are centered around creating effective content. Everybody thinks they should start their own blog right? But should they really?

I want to learn what makes a tweet go viral. And Finally, I’d like to learn the ways social media campaign and marketing efforts  have developed after years of use to help aid political posturing.

Until next time…AbraSue
