Hi everyone!

My name is Brigid. I am somewhere between a sophomore and a junior. I already have an Associate in Arts degree from Metropolitan Community College, but decided to transfer to Johnson County Community College to earn a Digital Marketing certificate before transferring to a four-year university to pursue a degree in journalism and marketing. I gained some marketing experience from managing the social media accounts for my academic honor society, Phi Theta Kappa. I am taking this course in order to gain a better understanding of how social media can impact a business or organization’s success.

Three things I hope to learn from this class:

• How to develop creative content that will attract new followers/customers
• How to use social media platforms effectively and efficiently
• How to implement successful marketing campaigns using social media
